Communications
Communications covers email campaigns, templates, and automation (journeys) depending on what your organization has enabled.
Before you send
Section titled “Before you send”- Confirm who should receive the message (segment, list, or filter).
- Confirm your organization’s email mode / sending readiness with an admin if this is a new org (some environments start non-live by design).
- Use a clear subject and a tested template.
Send a campaign (typical)
Section titled “Send a campaign (typical)”- Open Communications (or Campaigns).
- Create or select a campaign; choose audience.
- Write or pick a template; preview.
- Send a test to yourself first when available.
- Schedule or send live only when approved.
Automations / journeys
Section titled “Automations / journeys”If Journeys or automations are enabled, design multi-step flows carefully. Prefer the canonical journey builder your org was trained on — avoid duplicate “automation” UIs that may be legacy.
- Never paste production member lists into personal email tools as a workaround.
- Respect unsubscribes and org policy.
- Delivery issues: check org email settings and recent send logs with an admin.
