Communications

Communications covers email campaigns, templates, and automation (journeys) depending on what your organization has enabled.

  1. Confirm who should receive the message (segment, list, or filter).
  2. Confirm your organization’s email mode / sending readiness with an admin if this is a new org (some environments start non-live by design).
  3. Use a clear subject and a tested template.
  1. Open Communications (or Campaigns).
  2. Create or select a campaign; choose audience.
  3. Write or pick a template; preview.
  4. Send a test to yourself first when available.
  5. Schedule or send live only when approved.

If Journeys or automations are enabled, design multi-step flows carefully. Prefer the canonical journey builder your org was trained on — avoid duplicate “automation” UIs that may be legacy.

  • Never paste production member lists into personal email tools as a workaround.
  • Respect unsubscribes and org policy.
  • Delivery issues: check org email settings and recent send logs with an admin.
